I've been working with visual narratives my entire career.
When I first moved to NY from London, I staged off-off-broadway theater productions and opened up an artist studio in the basement of a TriBeca loft. I learned from those around me, shooting title sequences and writing/directing promos for networks like Comedy Central, MTV and IFC all the while honing my filmmaking skills. I soon started directing commercials which took me around the world working on global brands. From there it was a natural fit to rebrand such entertainment companies as Hallmark, Starz and Discovery. After establishing the creative studio, bobsyouruncle, I continued to lead marketing campaigns, building teams, encouraging craft and collaboration toward common strategic goals.
With a strong background in both management and creative, I'm just as comfortable in the conference room developing an idea as I am in the blue light glow of a late night edit.
